REDBUD. FOURTH OF JULY. MOTOCROSS AT ITS BEST. QUAD LOCK HONDA IS READY.
The highs and lows of professional motocross have been on full display for the Quad Lock Honda team throughout the 2026 season.
There have been challenges, setbacks and injuries, but there have also been moments worth celebrating, including Charli Cannon’s breakthrough overall victory in round 3 of the Women’s Motocross Championship.
Now the team heads to one of the biggest races on the calendar, at one of the most iconic venues in the world, during one of America’s most celebrated weekends, RedBud on the Fourth of July.
The team welcomes back two-time Australian Champion Brodie Connolly, who will make his long-awaited return to racing, while fellow Australian Kayd Kingsford joins the team to contest the prestigious Scouting Moto Combine as he continues his pursuit of an American racing career.

Christian Craig returns to action in the fiercely competitive 450 class and continues to build momentum as he chases his strongest result of the season.
“We are getting better every weekend,” said Craig.
“I love RedBud. The atmosphere, the fans and the history of the place make it one of the coolest events of the year. I’m looking forward to celebrating the Fourth of July with my moto family and continuing to move forward as a team.”
For Brodie Connolly, RedBud represents more than another race weekend.
After almost twelve months away from competition due to injuries and setbacks, the New Zealander finally returns to the gate.
“I’m definitely doing it the hard way,” Connolly laughed.

“I haven’t raced for nearly a year with broken bones and setbacks along the way. That’s part of the sport, but it certainly isn’t the fun part of it. I can’t wait to line up, race and see where we are as a team. It’s going to be a process and I’m excited to finally get started.”
Kayd Kingsford returns to America with unfinished business.
Last year his American debut was cut short following a first-lap crash of practice at Ironman during the Combine. Twelve months later, the young Australian returns as a two-time Australian Champion after claiming both the 2025 Australian Motocross and Supercross development titles.
The 18-year-old knows strong performances this week could help open the door to a full-time move to America in 2027.
“It’s tough because everything happens at one event and you only get one opportunity to make an impression,” said Kingsford.
“But I’m much better prepared this year. Last year I arrived jet-lagged and had one day to get ready. This time I came over early and have spent a week and a half acclimatising, training and riding.
“I honestly don’t know where I stack up against the best amateurs in America, but I’ll give it everything I have. I really want to be here full-time next year.”

Adding to the excitement, the team will race with special Fourth of July-inspired liveries, created in partnership with long-standing supporter SKDA.
RedBud. Fireworks. Flags. Freedom.
Motocross doesn’t get much bigger than this.
