Quad Lock Honda Launches 2026 AMA Supercross Campaign with Proven Lineup!
The AMA Supercross Championship begins today, marking the start of the Quad Lock Honda Team’s seventh season competing in the most intense and competitive Supercross series in the world.
The 2026 championship opens with a stacked premier-class field, featuring nine factory teams, ten manufacturers and more than 40 entries in the 450 class alone. Across the East and West Coast 250 championships, factory-backed programs will go head-to-head with an ever-stronger privateer contingent, creating one of the deepest and most demanding Supercross line-ups in recent memory. Success at this level demands resilience, discipline and consistency, qualities the Quad Lock Honda Team has built its program around.

For 2026, the team will contest the 450 class with a formidable trio: Joey Savatgy, Shane McElrath and Christian Craig. All three riders bring race-winning pedigree, experience at the highest level and the composure required for a 17-round championship battle.
“We have three very capable riders,” said Team Principal Martin Davalos. “Our approach remains consistent with previous seasons, learn, develop and compete at a high level every time we line up. This championship rewards discipline and execution, and we feel ready.”
Each of the team’s 450 riders has claimed victories in the 250 class, with Craig a former 250 Supercross Champion. Since joining the team late last year, Craig has quickly settled into the program and will contest multiple marquee rounds throughout the championship with different naming partners.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity with Quad Lock Honda,” said Craig. “From the moment I joined, the environment felt right. The bike, the crew and the overall effort are all at a high level. We have competitive equipment and now it’s about executing when it counts.”

The team had planned a strong presence in the 250 West Coast Championship, however injuries have delayed those efforts. Brodie Connolly, the two-time and reigning Australian Champion, continues to recover from a wrist injury, with his return to competition yet to be confirmed. In addition, the team had entered a rider, soon to be announced in the Futures program, with plans that were expected to transition into professional competition. That rider and program are still expected to contest select events in the United States later this season.
While the focus is firmly on the opening rounds of 2026, the Quad Lock Honda Team is equally committed to its long-term vision, with plans already in motion to return to the 250 class as a championship contender in 2027.
The team’s Motocross line-up will be announced in the coming months, including confirmation around the return of AMA runner-up Charli Cannon, who is expected to compete in the expanding Women’s Championship.
