In 2020, the Quad Lock Honda Team entered the United States to compete on the world’s biggest Supercross and Motocross stage. The program was founded on a simple but powerful belief: anything is possible if you are willing to start, accept that setbacks are part of the journey, and choose to continue regardless of the outcome. That belief carried the team to its first race at Anaheim 1 in 2020.

In their debut season, the team achieved two top-ten overall championship finishes and proved they could compete inside the top five against the best riders in the world. Just one year later, in only their second season in the U.S., the team achieved a podium finish in the elite 450 class, a milestone few privateer teams ever reach.

Fast forward to 2026, and the same team stands proud, driven by the same values and long-term vision. Since those early years, Quad Lock Honda has won races, achieved championship podiums, and become a global advocate for women in motorsport. FXR Racing has recognised that journey, the discipline behind it, and the ambition ahead, choosing to align with the team as both move forward together, united by shared values, focus, and a long-term commitment to winning championships.

Team Principal Martin Davalos explains:

“We are led by great people, supported by great companies, and guided by both short- and long-term strategic goals. If you’re too frightened to admit those goals, then you don’t want to be held accountable. This year we want to be consistently inside the top ten in the 450 class, push for podiums in Supercross, win the AMA Women’s Championship, and continue developing future champions. FXR Racing can see that focus and commitment and alignment like that matters.”

The team also highlighted the importance of FXR Racing’s deep understanding of the sport, led by founder and owner Milt Reimer.

“Having Milt in our corner matters,” Davalos added. “He rides, he races, and he lives the sport. He understands the unpredictability, motocross is a human endeavour, and things can go wrong. He gets that, and that understanding is priceless. He’s one of us.”

Founded in 1996 by Milt Reimer, FXR Racing is a leading global snow and moto brand, renowned for high-performance motocross and snowmobile apparel. Originating from a small operation in Manitoba, FXR Racing has grown into an internationally respected brand through rider-driven innovation, technical performance, and a commitment to quality, fit, and function. Today, FXR Racing supports professional athletes and grassroots racers worldwide while continuing to innovate across performance and lifestyle categories.

Reimer shared his enthusiasm for the new partnership:

“The Quad Lock Honda Team is one of the most respected race teams in the world. They have achieved success in the United States against the biggest teams and brands in the sport. Joey, Shane and Brodie are proven athletes, and we are proud to align with them and the entire organisation. Together, we will compete in over 40 events globally this year, their commitment to racing and performance is unmistakable.”

FXR Racing is not only focused on increasing its visibility in the United States, but is also investing in its presence across the Australian market. Through a partnership with leading Australian distributor JTR, FXR Racing aims to strengthen its presence and support in a market widely recognised for producing some of the best racing talent in motorcycling. Australia’s vast geography continues to encourage and support both competitive racing and off-road riding, making it a key strategic focus for the brand.

National Sales Manager for JTR, Andrew Miller, believes the new alliance with Quad Lock Honda, combined with FXR Racing’s increased commitment in the United States, will further strengthen the brand’s position both domestically and internationally. Miller is enthusiastic about the partnership and the upcoming product releases.

“FXR Racing is a highly reputable brand. Its heritage and commitment to the sport we’re all passionate about is clearly reflected in its designs, partnerships, and ongoing focus on evolving rider comfort across its product range. The alliance with Quad Lock Honda couldn’t have come at a better time, aligning perfectly with the announcement of our distribution agreement,” said Miller.

The partnership will begin at Anaheim 1, the most anticipated race on the Supercross calendar. Nearly one million fans attend Supercross events annually, with more than five million viewers tuning in via live broadcasts. The AMA Supercross Championship remains the largest racing platform in the world, spanning 17 rounds and delivering over 70 hours of live national and streaming television coverage.

AMA Supercross race winners and championship 250 runners-up Joey Savatgy and Shane McElrath will spearhead the team’s 450 program with FXR Racing in 2026. Savatgy, an Australian 450 Champion and three-time World Supercross Championship runner-up, will contest the full season in the premier class. McElrath, an Australian and World Supercross Champion, will compete across multiple classes throughout the season.

Brodie Connolly will make his American debut with the team in late February early March, following a prolonged recovery from a broken scaphoid. The two-time Australian Champion is eager to return to racing and make his mark in the 250 class.

Together, Quad Lock Honda and FXR Racing begin a new chapter, grounded in shared values, proven performance, and an unwavering belief in what’s possible.
